What Weekly Check-Ins Measure
Each week, users answer three short questions:
1. Progress This Week
Users rate how much improvement they feel they made compared to the previous week.
This may reflect:
Better movement quality
More consistency
Higher confidence
Reduced discomfort
2. Ability to Perform Assigned Exercises
Users indicate how easily they can complete their recommended exercises.
Responses typically reflect:
Whether exercises feel manageable
If movements feel difficult or limited
Whether the user is still practicing consistently
This helps identify when adjustments might be needed.
3. Current Pain or Discomfort Level
Users report how much pain they are experiencing at the moment of check-in.
This may reflect improvement, flare-ups, or delayed-onset discomfort related to activity.
When Check-Ins Occur
Weekly Check-Ins are active only while a user is enrolled in a program.
They appear:
Once per week
Based on the date the program began
Until the program is completed or retested
Users are able to submit their check-in through the platform within seconds.
Where Professionals See Check-In Results
All weekly responses appear within the user's program view for easy review.
Each submission displays:
The selected values
The date of submitted check-in
Historical trends for reference
Professionals can view this information alongside exercise completion and engagement data.
Why Weekly Check-Ins Matter
Weekly Check-Ins help capture information that is not always visible through activity history alone.
The data helps professionals:
Quickly see who needs follow-up
Identify barriers (e.g., high pain, difficulty completing exercises)
Monitor perceived progress
Adjust recommendations when necessary
For users, weekly check-ins encourage:
Accountability
Reflection on progress
Awareness of changes in symptoms
