In some rare instances, you may receive an email alerting you that we attempted to charge the card on file for your subscription and were unsuccessful. Here’s what happens next and why it might occur:

Next Steps

Upon a failed charge, you will receive an email instructing you to update your billing information. If you do not update your billing details, we will attempt to charge the card again up to three more times within the following two weeks. If all attempts fail, your subscription will be canceled, and your account will be deactivated.

Why Was My Card Declined?

Failed payments generally fall into two categories: declines and blocked payments.

Declines

A decline occurs when your card issuer prevents a charge from going through. Common reasons for declines include insufficient funds, an expired card, or the issuer suspecting fraudulent activity.

Blocked Payments

On the other hand, blocked payments are typically a security measure used by payment processors or your bank to reduce the risk of fraud. This precaution helps protect both your personal financial information and our services from unauthorized transactions.

Understanding these reasons can help you troubleshoot payment issues effectively and ensure uninterrupted service. If you encounter any difficulties, updating your payment information or contacting your card issuer for more details can often resolve the issue.
