High-risk recommendations

High-risk recommendations allow you to provide specific information, next steps, or resources to users who are in the high-risk category. This can be extremely helpful for organizations that want to ensure their users have access to important information when they need it most. In this article, we will show you how to add default recommendations to your organization, which will provide your recommendations to all groups and users.

How to add default recommendations to your organization

Adding default recommendations to your organization is a simple process. Follow the steps below to get started:

To get started, go to Settings and click the High-Risk Recommendations tab.

You will find two toggle buttons allowing you to choose between Healthcare recommendations and Behavioral Health recommendations.

Click 'Edit' to start adding your recommendations. You can switch between healthcare and behavioral health as needed.

Custom Video Integration

Symmio allows you to add any customized video of your choice to the platform. This offers a unique opportunity to personally connect with your audience and provide specific instructions, answer possible questions and create a relationship with them.

Select a video source (Youtube, Vimeo, Wistia) from the dropdown menu, then paste the video share code into the Video URL textbox.

Learn about embedding videos.

Now that you have the video URL, you will need to add the Header Text.

Header Text

This text appears below your custom video, serving as an engaging introduction. For healthcare recommendations, you might use a headline like "Connecting with a Healthcare Provider."

Simply click inside of the text box and start typing.

Let's move onto the main body.

Main Body

The main body allows you to add more text and customization to the recommendations. We recommend adding a description of what you want the user to do, information about pain, or pretty much anything you would like to say.

Inside of the text box, you can customize the formatting of the text just like you would with a word document.

Learn how to format the Main Body.

Button Text & URL

Just like any button on a website, you can customize the button text and the URL destination you want to point users to when they click the button. This can be as simple as Scheduling an appointment, viewing resources or sending an email. The goal of this is to direct users to a specific location of your choice.

After entering and reviewing your information, click 'Save Changes' to apply your recommendations.

Testing your Recommendations

Once you have saved your changes, you can preview the recommendations from the High-Risk Recommendations page. If you wish to view the recommendations on your mobile device or web app follow these steps:

Mobile Device:

Go to Settings > My Recommendations to preview how your recommendations appear on mobile devices.

Navigate to Recommendations to view how they are displayed on the web app

Note: You might not see the recommendations on the web app if you are not in the high-risk category.

Implementing default high-risk recommendations on Symmio is a straightforward process that significantly enhances the support you offer to users. By carefully crafting and integrating these recommendations, you can ensure that high-risk individuals receive the guidance they need to manage their health effectively.
