Keeping our customers' data secure is the most important thing that Symmio | Functional Movement Systems does. We go to considerable lengths to ensure that all data sent to Symmio | Functional Movement Systems is handled securely - keeping Symmio secure is fundamental to the nature of our business.

We want to share some of the details of what we do to keep things secure, and some of the work that we're doing to continually improve the security of your data. This document is a living document, and we will add to it from time to time.

We host in world class facilities

The vast majority of our services and data are hosted in Google Firebase Services facilities in the USA. Further details about the considerable measures Google take in securing their facilities and services can be found here: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy#security_information


Functional Movement System / Symmio's data is stored in Google Firebase, where all records are backed up via our cloud servers but are not stored externally from Firebase. We ensure a secure and authenticated connection using Auth0 for authentication via Firebase Authentication. To further enhance security, all data transmission over the network is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) as part of the REST API protocols employed by our system. This ensures that data remains confidential and protected during transit.

3rd Party Applications

We do use 3rd party applications in Symmio, however we absolutely do not share any information with 3rd parties, our data is stored in Google Firebase and our API’s are private, only accessible by our apps with encrypted keys.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free web analytics service that offers basic analytical tools and statistics used for search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing. The performance of a website and information about its visitors are monitored and analyzed using Google Analytics.

Algolia

Algolia is a hosted search engine, offering full-text, numerical, and faceted search, capable of delivering real-time results from the first keystroke.

Browserstack.

BrowserStack is a cloud web and mobile testing platform that provides developers with the ability to test their websites and mobile applications across on-demand browsers, operating systems and real mobile devices.

We do not store payment details

Symmio | Functional Movement Systems is not in the business of storing or processing payments. All payments made to Intercom goes through our partner, Stripe. Details about their security setup and PCI compliance can be found at Stripe's security page.
